<br /> 25"£ <br /> 1.8.6 Discuss results of public input with the CITY to determine if <br /> any modifications to the project work plan are warranted. <br /> 1.9 TASK 9 - REPORTS <br /> The ENGINEER shall: <br /> 1. 9.1 Prepare and deliver to the CITY six copies of a draft report <br /> summarizing the findings and recommendations developed in Tasks 1 <br /> through 7 within three hundred (300) days of receipt of Notice to <br /> --~roceed by ENGINEER from CITY. CITY shall provide review comments to <br /> ~NGINEER within thirty (30) days following receipt of the draft report <br /> Erom ENGINEER. <br /> 1. 9.2 Meet with CITY and discuss CITY's comments relative to the <br /> draft report and revise the report as mutually agreed. <br /> 1. 9.3 Deliver to CITY twenty (20) copies of the final report within <br /> thirty (30) days following ENGINEER's receipt of CITY's comments. <br /> 1. 9.4 Conduct up to three presentations of the final report findings <br /> as desired by CITY. <br /> 1.10 TASK 10 - GIS DATA BASE <br /> 1.10.1 The ENGINEER shall digitize the storm sewer infrastructure <br /> information collected in field surveys to support the hydraulic model <br /> development using MICROSTATION software on an INTERGRAPH workstation <br /> purchased by ENGINEER for CITY. CITY shall transfer copies of MGE, MGA <br /> and Informix software as well as existing digitized <br /> topographic/planimetric maps of the CITY to the workstation. The <br /> infrastructure shall be digitized by the ENGINEER using symbology <br /> agreed upon by ENGINEER and CITY. Attribute information, such as pipe <br /> diameters, elevations, pipe materials, etc. will be provided by the <br /> - ENGINEER to the CITY for input into the relational data base configured <br /> by ENGINEER as approved by CITY. ENGINEER will develop for each major <br /> watershed, basin and subbasin boundaries, junction number <br /> identification for flow rates and wat.er surface elevations for each <br /> design storm frequency, location and description of proposed <br /> improvements and floodplain extent with and without improvements. This <br /> information shall also be digitized by the ENGINEER using MICROSTATION <br /> software. ENGINEER shall complete Task 10 within three hundred (300) <br /> days of receipt of Notice to Proceed by ENGINEER from CITY. <br /> 1.10.2 ENGINEER shall purchase for and deliver to CITY one Intergraph <br /> 2020 workstation with Microstation 32 software, digitized storm sewer <br /> infrastructure represented by symbology agreed upon by CITY, and a <br /> configured attribute file for each element, and shall provide six hours <br /> of training on the infrastructure attribute files. <br /> 1.11 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> The ENGINEER will be entitled to fees for additional services only <br /> for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in the <br /> Agreement or in the ENGINEER's proposal for engineering services to the <br /> CITY. Example of such additional services include the preparation of <br /> applications for private or governmental grants, and the preparation of <br /> detailed plans and specifications for construction of all or any part <br /> of the drainage system improvements recommended by the ENGINEER. <br /> ENGINEER shall prepare an estimate of fees prior to undertaking <br /> additional services and shall provide services only if authorized or <br /> confirmed in writing by the CITY. Compensation for additional services <br /> - shall be in addition to that specified for basic services. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> TEE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 2.1 The CITY shall provide full information regarding requirements for <br /> the Project. Such information will include all previous reports and <br /> any other data relative to the design or construction of the Project. <br /> 2.2 The CITY's authorized representative shall examine the documents <br /> submitted by the ENGINEER <br /> -6- <br />
