<br /> 20 <br /> This AGREEMENT is made this the lOth day of August , <br /> 19 93 r between the CITY OF SAN MARCOSr TEXASr hereinafter referred to <br /> as n CITyn, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, and RAM <br /> COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS, mc -, 10 woodbridge Center Drive, <br /> Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095, hereinafter referred to as nCONSULTANTn, <br /> for professional services in connection with a telephone system and a <br /> radio communications system for the City of San Marcos. <br /> WITNESSETH: CITY and CONSULTANT do agree as follows: <br /> r- ARTICLE 1 <br /> CONSULTANT'S SERVICES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> CONSULTANT shall develop and assist the City with the <br /> definition of requirements for telephone and radio communication <br /> systems for the CITY, hereinafter referred to as the nproject.n <br /> The CONSULTANT's Services shall consist of the following: <br /> 1.0 STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE. QUALITY CONTROL AND SCHEDULING <br /> 1. 0.1 In the performance of all services in connection with this <br /> Agreement, CONSULTANT shall use that degree of care and skill <br /> ordinarily exercised for similar projects by professionals who F~~sess <br /> special expertise in the type of work involved in this~Project. <br /> 1.0.2 The CONSULTANT shall assemble a Project team, comprised of a <br /> project administratorr project manager, project engineer, quality <br /> assurance staffr technical support staff and E-911 systems consultant. <br /> The CONSULTANT shall meet on an approximate monthly basis with CITY <br /> staff for the duration of the Project. <br /> 1.1 TASK 1 - PROJECT INITIATION AND ORIENTATION <br /> ¡ The CONSULTANT shall: <br /> ( <br /> 1.1.1 Review project objectiv~s, plans, and requirements with <br /> scope, <br /> City staff. <br /> 1.1.2 Define the Cityrs project team members and their roles. <br /> 1.1.3 Determine service area participation and <br /> roles/responsibilities. <br /> 1.1.4 Review CONSULTANT's ,understanding of the C:i,.tyrs <br /> telecommunications operations and the nature of operating relationships <br /> among the various service areas. <br /> 1.1.5 Prepare plansr calendarr and milestones to include lists of <br /> tasks, timetables, deliverablesr and meeting schedules. <br /> 1.1.6 Schedule and hold progress meetings on a monthly basis, in <br /> addition to regular contact with City staff. <br /> 1.1.7 Deliver to the City a Project Team Organization Chart. <br />
