<br /> l SìY <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> OUTDOOR AREA LIGHTING <br /> Rate Schedule - OAL <br /> Effective: June 1, 1993 Page 2 <br /> <br /> PAYMENT <br /> The due dates for all bills shall be the fifteenth (15th) day following the date of issuance. The <br /> penalty date for all bills shall be the twenty-first (21 st) day following the date of issuance. Any <br /> and all amounts not paid before the penalty due date shall be assessed a charge in the amount <br /> of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. Payments from state agencies must be received <br /> within thirty (30) days from receipt of bill, and any unpaid amount will be subject to a 1.0% per <br /> month interest charge following the procedures set forth in the Prompt Payment Act. <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> The City will furnish, operate and maintain the facilities required for service under this rate <br /> schedule. Service at locations where existing City System poles and facilities are not available <br /> will be made at the discretion of the City and at an additional charge to recover the cost of .. <br /> installing poles and conductors and to recover increased cost of maintenance~ <br /> The following conditions shall apply to all facilities installed by the City under this rate <br /> schedule: <br /> The cost of repairing facilities damaged by acts of vandalism shall be billed to the <br /> Customer at actual cost to the City including all appropriate overheads. <br /> The City shall, at the request of the Customer, relocate or change existing equipment <br /> and the Customer shall reimburse the City for any and all such relocations or changes at <br /> the City's actual costs including all appropriate overheads. <br /> , <br /> Extensions of any lighting facilities will be made by the City only where, in the sole <br /> opinion of the City, the annual revenues justify the estimated costs including all <br /> appropriate overheads. <br /> New private area lighting facilities shall be of a form and substance consistent with the <br /> City's approved standard configuration for private area lighting at the time of the <br /> Customer's application for service. Where a non-standard lighting configuration is <br /> requested by the Customer, all maintenance and replacement costs shall be paid by the <br /> Customer should the City agree to the installation of the non-standard facilities. <br /> TERM OF CONTRACT <br /> Customers requesting service under this rate schedule will be required to execute a standard <br /> contract for service with a minimum term of thirty six (36) months. <br />
