SIX SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES OUTDOOR AREA LIGHTING Rate Schedule - OAL Effective: June 1, 1993 Page 1 The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for outdoor area lighting service on the basis of this Rate Schedule - OAl. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. AVAILABILITY This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City System"), APPLICABILITY This rate schedule is applicable to year-round private outdoor area security fighting service. Lighting fixtures and service to be provided pursuant to this rate schedule shall be at locations that are easily and economically accessible to City equipment and personnel lor construction and maintenance. Lamps will be operated approximately 4,000 hours per year per lamp from dusk to dawn as controlled by photo-electric controls. CHARACTER OF SERVICE Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the City's option of the standard voltages available from the City System. Resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule, MONTHLY RATE 175 Watt Mercury Vapor Lamp , Standard Fixture & Installation $4.54 per fixture Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 70 kWh 100 Watt High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamp Standard Fixture & Installation $3.50 per fixture Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 40 kWh The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased or sold by the City. MINIMUM CHARGE The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the stated charge per lamp and fixture and all applicable rate adjustments.
