<br /> SIX <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> OUTDOOR AREA LIGHTING <br /> Rate Schedule - OAL <br /> Effective: June 1, 1993 Page 1 <br /> <br /> The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for outdoor area lighting service on <br /> the basis of this Rate Schedule - OAl. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San <br /> Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate <br /> schedule. <br /> AVAILABILITY <br /> This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric <br /> Utility System (the "City System"), <br /> APPLICABILITY <br /> This rate schedule is applicable to year-round private outdoor area security fighting service. <br /> Lighting fixtures and service to be provided pursuant to this rate schedule shall be at locations <br /> that are easily and economically accessible to City equipment and personnel lor construction <br /> and maintenance. Lamps will be operated approximately 4,000 hours per year per lamp from <br /> dusk to dawn as controlled by photo-electric controls. <br /> CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the <br /> City's option of the standard voltages available from the City System. Resale service is not <br /> permitted under this rate schedule, <br /> MONTHLY RATE <br /> 175 Watt Mercury Vapor Lamp , <br /> Standard Fixture & Installation $4.54 per fixture <br /> Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 70 kWh <br /> 100 Watt High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamp <br /> Standard Fixture & Installation $3.50 per fixture <br /> Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 40 kWh <br /> The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or <br /> surcharges imposed by any governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues <br /> from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased or sold by the City. <br /> MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the stated charge per lamp and fixture and all <br /> applicable rate adjustments. <br />
