<br /> - - - . <br /> S-IVV <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> STREET LIGHTING & TRAFFIC SIGNAL SERVICE <br /> Rate Schedule - SL <br /> Effective: June 1, 1993 Page 2 <br /> <br /> MONTHLY RATE (cant.) <br /> The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or <br /> surcharges imposed by any governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues <br /> from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased or sold by the City <br /> MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE and all applicable <br /> rate adjustments. <br /> PA YMENT <br /> The due dates for all bills shall be the fifteenth (15th) day following the date of issuance. The <br /> penalty date for all bills shall be the twenty-first (21 st) day following the date of issuance. Any <br /> and all amounts not paid before the penalty due date shall be assessed a cha~ge in the amount <br /> of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. Payments from state agencies must be received <br /> within thirty (30) days from receipt of bill, and any unpaid amount will be subject to a 1.0% per <br /> month interest charge following the procedures set forth in the Prompt Payment Act. <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> The City will furnish and operate all street lighting facilities required for service under this <br /> Schedule SL. Service to locations where City System poles and facilities are not available will <br /> be made at the discretion of the City and at an additional charge to the Customer to cover the <br /> costs, including appropriate overheads, of additional poles, conductors, other facilities and <br /> increased maintenance expenses. The cost of maintaining and repairing any equipment <br /> necessary for street lighting service under this Schedul~ SL shall be billed to the Customer at <br /> cost, including appropriate overheads. The City shall, at the request of the Customer, relocate <br /> or change existing equipment and the Customer shall reimburse the City for any and all such <br /> relocations or changes at actual cost including appropriate overheads. <br /> INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> The City will make reasonable provisions to insure satisfactory and continuous service, but <br /> does not guarantee a continuous supply of electric power and energy from the City System <br /> facilities and shall not be liable for damage occasioned by interruptions of service or failure to <br /> commence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public enemy, or for any cause reasonably <br /> beyond the control of the City, including, but not limited to, the failure or breakdown of <br /> facilities, floods, fire, strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having jurisdiction in the <br /> premises, or for interruptions which are necessary for inspection, repair, or changes in the <br /> equipment and facilities of the City, the City System or the bulk power supplier(s) to the City <br /> System. The Customer shall notify the City immediately of any defects, troubles or accident <br /> which may in any way affect the delivery of electric service by the City from the City System. <br />
