<br /> l 5"111 P <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> MISCELLANEOUS SERVICE CHARGES <br /> Rate Schedule - MSC <br /> Effective: June 1, 1993 Page 2 <br /> <br /> NEW SERVICE CHARGE <br /> This charge shall be in addition to the Connection Fee-New Account charge when a permanent <br /> electric service is installed for the first time to a new structure or a new point of delivery. <br /> NON-PAYMENT RECONNECT CHARGE <br /> This charge shall be made when electric service to a customer has been disconnected due to <br /> the customer's non-payment of a bill and reconnection of service, after payment of all past due <br /> amounts, is performed during normal business hours. If a customer applies for service before <br /> 4:00 PM, the customer will be reconnected the same day. If a customer applies after 4:00 PM, <br /> but before 5:00 PM, the customer will be reconnected the following business day or pay double <br /> the reconnect fee in order to be reconnected the same day. <br /> TEMPORARY OVERHEAD CONNECTION CHARGE <br /> This charge shall be made for temporary overhead service at 120/240 volts, single phase, three <br /> wire, 60 Hertz when the requested service is more than 90 feet from the point of delivery <br /> and/or requires special equipment installed by the City. Temporary overhead electric service <br /> will be provided only after the customer has paid to the City, in advance, the estimated cost of <br /> installing and removing the necessary overhead facilities. <br /> SHORT -TERM SERVICE CHARGE <br /> This charge shall be made when service is disconnected at the request of the customer within <br /> thirty (30) days or less from the date service is first made available by the City, <br /> u <br /> "NO LIGHTS" SERVICE CALL CHARGE <br /> This charge will be made when a customer calls the City to report "no lights" and requests the <br /> City dispatch a serviceman to customer's premises and it is determined that the cause of the <br /> "no lights" condition was caused by a problem with customer owned wiring or a condition on <br /> the customer's side of the point of delivery. In the event a serviceman is dispatched other than <br /> during normal business hours, the charge will be double. <br />
