<br /> 100 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 1 h R R <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH THE <br /> GREATER SAN MARCOS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> COUNCIL AND THE SAN MARCOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br /> RELATING TO AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br /> FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce administers a <br /> community Economic Development Program through the Greater San <br /> Marcos Economic Development council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city of San Marcos desires to renew its contract <br /> with the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council and the <br /> San Marcos Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 1993-94, in order to <br /> promote orderly and responsible economic development for the San <br /> Marcos geographic area; now, therefore, <br /> ~ <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of an agreement between <br /> the City of San Marcos, the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the <br /> Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council, relating to an <br /> economic development program for fiscal year 1993-94, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and <br /> purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the city Manager of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute this agreement on <br /> behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
