<br />, <br /> <br />123H <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />TO <br />CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br />Owner: City of San Marcos, Texas <br />Project: Wastewater System Master Plan <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The scope of services for this project are as follows. <br /> <br />Phase 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT, MEETINGS, AND COORDINATION <br /> <br />A. General Administration. <br /> <br />Perform general administration duties associated with the project, including <br />progress monitoring, scheduling, general correspondence, office <br />administration, and invoicing. These activities include maintaining day-to- <br />day contact and liaison with the Owner, agencies, and subconsultants, and <br />project staff; ensuring that the needs of the Owner are met in a timely <br />manner; preparing and monitoring subcontracts; providing project <br />communication; reviewing purchase orders and subconsultant invoices; <br />monitoring work on the project; and ensuring that the work is executed in <br />accordance with the work plan, within budget, and on schedule. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Meetings. <br /> <br />Participate in the following meetings to review progress and exchange ideas <br />and information. <br /> <br />1. Conduct a project initiation meeting to clarify Owner's <br />requirements for the Project, review pertinent available data, review <br />project staffing and organization, present initial work plan, and <br />present work schedule. <br /> <br />2. Attend two (2) meetings with the Texas Water Commission to <br />determine their requirements for stream loading allocations for the San <br />Marcos River and the new sludge regulations. <br /> <br />3. Attend one (1) meeting in Austin with the Texas Water Development <br />Board to discuss availability and requirements for State Revolving Fund <br />financing. <br /> <br />4. Participate in eight (8) informal meetings with the Owner to review <br />progress and exchange ideas and information. One meeting per month is <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />5. Participate in three (3) public meetings in San Marcos to discuss <br />project and obtain comments as the project is being developed. <br /> <br /> <br />6. Quality Review. Provide informal quality control review throughout <br />development of the study evaluation.
