Mr. Tarbutton <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Stokes moved to not <br />include the franchise tax on this service. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration a report on the cemetery. Mr. Stokes <br />moved to table this item. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On roll call, <br />the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Cavazos, James, Kraus, Norris, Stokes, Tarbutton <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Brown <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration award of IPA contract for 1981-82. <br />Mr. Stokes moved to table this item. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration the sale of the old municipal <br />landfill site. Mr. Stokes moved not to sell the property based on staffs <br />recommended use of the land. Mr. Tarbutton seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. The Mayor stated that he would like to see some <br />proposed scheduling for improvements by the March 23rd meeting. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration budget revision of Entitlement Block <br />Grant Year 5. This item was withdrawn until the Marth 9th agenda. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid for surveying <br />services on Bishop Street Project. Mr. Brown moved to authorize the bid. <br />Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid engineering <br />services for extension of water and wastewater mains on Redwood Road. Mrs. <br />Norris moved to authorize the bid. Mr. James seconded the motion. Mr. <br />Stokes moved to table this item. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On the <br />motion to table this item, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Norris, Stokes, Tarbutton <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Brown, Cavazos, James, Kraus <br /> <br />On the motion to authorize the bid, the vote was for unanlmous approval. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid crawford water <br />tower improvements. Mr. James moved to authorize the bid. Mr. Cavazos <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid a truck mounted <br />aerial lift/truck chassis. The City Manager noted there was not budgeted <br />funds for this vehicle, but staff needed definite prices. Staff will <br />suggest funding resources at a later date. Hrs. Norris moved to authorize <br />the bid. Mr. Stokes seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid a rear loader <br />truck. Mr. Stokes moved to authorize the bid. Mrs. Norris seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration authorization to bid a side loader <br />truck. Mr. Stokes moved to authorize the bid. Mrs. Norris seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The ~1ayor introduced for consideration appointments to the Central Texas <br />Higher Education Authority, Senior Citizens Advisory Board and the Fair <br />Housing Commission. On the Central Texas Higher Education Authority, the <br />following nominations were made: <br />
