<br /> 55 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 199 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> OF A LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND GILLAND <br /> LAWN SERVICE TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE LANDSCAPE <br /> MAINTENANCE CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on February 1, 1992 the City of San <br />Marcos entered into a contract with Gilland Lawn Service for <br />landscape maintenance; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on January 25, 1993 both parties agreed to <br />an extension of the original contract for an additional year; <br />and, <br /> WHEREAS, both parties agree to another extension of <br />the original contract; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That a letter agreement between the City <br />of San Marcos and Gilland Lawn Service, to extend~the term of <br />the landscape maintenance contract for a second additional <br />year, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein for all intents and purposes, is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
