<br /> I <br /> IlbA';Z I <br /> 10.0 PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE <br /> 10.1 A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on August 19, 1993 at <br /> 10:00 a.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins Street, San <br /> Marcos, Texas, '-. <br /> A. Vendors must attend the pre-proposal conference and make their <br /> attendance a matter of record by completing a sign-in roster identifying <br /> the firm name, representative name and title. <br /> B. The purpose of the pre-proposal conference is to insure: <br /> 1. a clear understanding of the City's needs <br /> 2. the accuracy of the terms and conditions, and required <br /> responses to this Request for Proposals <br /> 3. the identification of any problems which might prevent <br /> obtaining the proper services at a fair and reasonable price, or <br /> any issues that inhibit a fair and accurate solicitation. <br /> C. Vendors having questions concerning the contents of this Request for <br /> Proposals should submit them in writing to the Purchasing Manager at <br /> 630 E. Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas, 78666. Questions should <br /> be received not later than five (5) days preceding the date set for the <br /> pre-proposal conference so that appropriate information may be <br /> researched and made available during the pre-proposal conference to all <br /> vendors. <br /> D. Any changes resulting from the pre-proposal conference affecting the <br /> specifications or the scope of work, or which may require an extension <br /> to the proposal deadline will be reduced in writing in the form of an <br /> addendum to this solicitation.
