-10- SECTION 3. That the ballots for the election called hereunder shall conform to the requirements of the Texas Election Code, and shall have the measures described herein stated as propositions on such ballots as follows: Proposition No. 1 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 2.01 of the city Charter to delete an outdated reference to state law. Proposition No. 2. FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.04 of the City Charter to provide compensation to the Mayor and Council members on a per-meeting basis, and to provide health insurance benefits to council members. Proposition No. 3 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 3.11 of the City Charter to clarify the procedures for the passage of ordinances. Proposition No. 4 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 4.01 of the City Charter to require the city manager to reside within the City, and to clarify the city council's authority to remove the city manager. Proposition No. 5 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 4.02 of the City Charter to delete the outdated requirement that ordinances and resolutions be kept in the minute books of the city council. Proposition No. 6 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of section 5.03 of the City Charter to change the filing deadline for City Council candidates to comport with State law, and to require canidate applications to be filed with the city secretary. Proposition No. 7 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Sections 6.01 and 6.02 of the City Charter to require initiative and referendum petitions to be signed by at least ten per cent of the qualified voters of the city, or 250, whichever is greater. Proposition No. 8 FOR/AGAINST The amendment of Section 6.03 of the City Charter to require signatures on referendum and initiative petitions to be accompanied by all information called for by
