<br /> 2.3 ASSETS TO BE APPRAISED <br /> 2.3.1 Assets to be appraised by the CONSULTANT shall include the <br /> following: <br /> ( 1) Land (as researched and identified at the register of deeds, <br /> and provided by the Appraisal District for current <br /> value) <br /> (2) Buildings <br /> ( 3) Other Fixed Assets (assets having a useful life of three <br /> years or more or items which have a unit cost of $300.00 or <br /> more): <br /> (a) machinery and related equipment <br /> (b) equipment <br /> (c) furniture and fixtures <br /> (d) miscellaneous items which will be incorporated into <br /> the record, based on information provided by the <br /> City include vehicles and attachments, portable <br /> communications equipment, weapons, bulletproof <br /> vests, binoculars, library books, audiovisual <br /> software, uniforms, records, diskettes, cassettes, <br /> films, framed art and computer software. <br /> 2.3.2 The following items (*except pocket size) are considered <br /> fixed assets regardless of cost: <br /> Typewriters Televisions Projectors <br /> Calculators* Cameras Weapons <br /> Radios* Videocassete Recorders Recorders * <br /> Folding Chairs Battery'Chargers Desks <br /> 2.3.3 Items purchased with grant funds and characterized as <br /> "equipment" by that grant shall be considered a fixed asset regardless <br /> of cost. <br /> 2.3.4 Rented, leased, or equipment purchased on a time-payment-plan <br /> shall be appraised, tagged and included in the inventory records as <br /> appropriate. <br /> 2.4 ASSETS NOT APPRAISED <br /> 2.4.1 Expendable supplies are not considered fixed assets and are <br /> not to be inventoried (e. g., automotive parts, plumbing and electrical <br /> supplies and small items normally used in performance of building and <br /> equipment maintenance). <br /> 2.4.2 Items that are installed on buildings and equipment which <br /> form a part of the major item are not to be separately inventoried. <br /> 2.4.3 Inventories, supplies, and personal property of CITY <br /> employees or others shall not be inventoried under this Agreement. <br />
