PROPOSITION NO. 2 THE ISSUANCE OF $4,500,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR MULTI-PURPOSE COMMUNITY/CONVENTION CENTER PROPOSITION NO.3 THE ISSUANCE OF $200,000 AIRPORT REVENUE BONDS FOR CONSTRUCTING AND EQUIPPING AIRCRAFT HANGARS Section 9. Persons Qualified to Vote. All resident qualified electors of said City shall be permitted to vote at said election. Section 10. Bilinqual Election Materials. The election materials enumerated in Secs. 272.001, et seg., V.T.C.A. Election Code, shall be printed in both English and Spanish for use at each polling place and for early voting. Section 11. Notice of Election. (a) Notice of said election shall be given by (i) posting substantial copies of this ordinance in both English and Spanish at the City Hall and at three (3) other places in said City and (ii) publishing substantial copies of this ordinance in both English and Spanish on the same day in each of two (2) successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in said City, the date of the first publication to be not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date set for said election. (b) A substantial copy of this Ordinance in both English and Spanish shall serve as public nptice of branch voting schedule and shall be posted continuously for a period beginning not later than the fifth day before the first day of the period for early voting by personal appearance and ending on the last day of such period, on the bulletin board used for posting notice of meetings of the City Council of the City. Section 12. Public Meetinq. It is officially found, determined, and declared that the meeting at which this Ordinance has been adopted was open to the public and public notice of the time, place and subject matter of the public business to be considered and acted upon at said meeting, including this Ordinance was given, all as required by the applicable provisions of Article 6252-17, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, as amended. -4- 4304f/4
