<br /> 46 <br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi municipal corporation, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and <br /> the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and <br /> through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions herein <br /> stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code: to-wit: <br /> I. <br /> School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular election of officers for each political <br /> subdivision on Saturday, May 2, 1992. Said joint elections will be held at the same polling places in <br /> each precinct, said locations being: <br /> In Election Precinct No. 111 at Dunbar Center; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 112 at Guadalupe Hall; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 113 at San Marcos High School Auditorium; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 114 & 445 at San Marcos City Hall; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 116 at Westover Baptist Church; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 120 at C. M. Allen Homes; <br /> In Election Precinct No. 330 at Lamar School <br /> In Election Precinct No.334 & 451 at City Library; <br /> In Election Precinct No.336 at Crockett School <br /> In Election Precinct No 446 at Travis Elementary School. <br /> It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administration of the elections within the corporate <br /> limits of San Marcos, Texas, will be shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that <br /> should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said City be <br /> necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third <br /> (113) of the cost of materials. <br />
