<br /> ll. <br /> It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot will be used for the joint election. <br /> It is agreed by the parties hereto that common ballot boxes will be used for the joint election, to <br /> be provided equally by the two agencies. The ballot boxes holding the voted ballots for the election will <br /> be delivered by the Precinct Judges to the City Secretary at the City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street, and <br /> said boxes will remain in her custody except that City agrees to deliver the boxes of voted ballots to <br /> School if requested for canvass of the election or in the event the voted ballots are required for any court <br /> proceedings in which the School may be a party. City agrees to maintain Custody of the ballot boxes <br /> containing the voted ballots after delivery by the School until the expiration of sixty (60) days following <br /> the date of the elections, at which time City will dispose of the voted ballots in the manner prescribed by <br /> the Texas Election Code and will return those ballot boxes owned by School to the School District <br /> Office. <br /> ill. <br /> Joint returns of the elections will be provided by the Central Counting Station to the Mayor and <br /> School Board President and to the City Secretary and School District Business Manager following the <br /> tabulation. The Mayor of the City and the City Secretary will maintain custody of the returns until the <br /> completion of the election canvass by the City Council" after which City will deliver the original returns <br /> to the School District Office for the election canvass by the School Board of Trustees. School agrees to <br /> return the original returns to the City after completion of the election canvass. City agrees to maintain <br /> custody of the election returns upon delivery by the School for ,a minimum period of sixty (60) days <br /> following the date of the election. <br /> City also agrees to furnish School with the original records, upon request by the School, in the <br /> event they are required for any court proceedings in which the School may be a party. <br /> IV. <br /> To facilitate the administration of the election, and as a convenience to the voters, during the <br /> absentee voting period of Monday, April 13, 1992 through Tuesday, April 28, 1992, City agrees to <br /> designate the School District Office, 501 South LB.J. Drive, as a Temporary Branch Absentee Polling <br />
