THE STATE OF TEXAS THE COUNTY OF HAYS 44 JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi-municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the the Texas Election Code; to-wit: terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of I. School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular April 4, 1981. election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, Said joint elections will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, said locations being: In Election Precinct No. In Election Precinct No. In Election Precinct No. School Auditorium; In Election Precinct No. Station; In Election Precinct No. In Election Precinct No. In Election Precinct No. Fire Station; In Election Precinct No. Church; In Election Precinct No. Auditorium; In Election Precinct No. Public Safety; In Election Precinct No. School. 11 at Dunbar Center; 12 at Guadalupe Hall; 13 at San Marcos High 20 at Bugg Lane Fire 30 at Crockett School; 33 at Public Library; 34 at Holland Street 36 at American Lutheran 44 at Woods Homes 45 at San Marcos Dept. of 46 at Travis Elementary It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administra- tion of the elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas, will be shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. II. It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot will be used for the joint election.
