<br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />44 <br /> <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, <br /> <br />a quasi-municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> <br />"School", acting by and through its President of the Board of <br /> <br />Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its <br /> <br />Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the <br /> <br />the Texas Election Code; to-wit: <br /> <br />terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular <br /> <br />April 4, 1981. <br /> <br />election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, <br /> <br />Said joint elections will be held at the same <br /> <br />polling places in each precinct, said locations being: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />School Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />Station; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />Church; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />Public Safety; <br />In Election Precinct No. <br />School. <br /> <br />11 at Dunbar Center; <br />12 at Guadalupe Hall; <br />13 at San Marcos High <br />20 at Bugg Lane Fire <br />30 at Crockett School; <br />33 at Public Library; <br />34 at Holland Street <br />36 at American Lutheran <br />44 at Woods Homes <br />45 at San Marcos Dept. of <br />46 at Travis Elementary <br /> <br />It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administra- <br /> <br />tion of the elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, <br /> <br />Texas, will be shared equally by the School and City, provided <br /> <br />however, that should construction of voting signs or booths to <br /> <br />be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, <br /> <br />the agency providing the labor for such construction will be <br /> <br />responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot <br /> <br />will be used for the joint election. <br />
