Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 7:33 p.m. There being no comments; the public hearing was closed at 7:34 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member Prather, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2013- 17, as previously captioned. The motion carried. 16.7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or atiainst Ordinance 2013 -18 uantin2 the consent of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to the creation of LaSalle Municipal Utility District Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 within the Citys Extraterritorial Jurisdiction; approving a Consent A reement• authorizin the Cit Manager to execute the Consent Agreement; and providing for an effective date; and consider approval of Ordinance 2013 -18, on the first of two readings. The motion carried. 1.7.7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Resolution 2013 -50R, approving a substantial amendment to the City of San Marco 2009 -2014 CDBG Consolidated Plan to change the use of the Cephas House as a facility fora variety of small cultural arts and leisure classes and programs and to provide a venue for the display of the history of the Dunbar Neighborhood and the Citys African American presence; and declaring an effective date; and consider approval of Resolution 2013 -50R.
