The motion carried. <br />16.7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or atiainst Ordinance 2013 -18 uantin2 the consent of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to <br />the creation of LaSalle Municipal Utility District Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 within the Citys <br />Extraterritorial Jurisdiction; approving a Consent A reement• authorizin the Cit <br />Manager to execute the Consent Agreement; and providing for an effective date; and <br />consider approval of Ordinance 2013 -18, on the first of two readings. <br />Kristy Stark, Assistant Director of Development Services, provided a brief presentation. <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 9:17 p.m. <br />There being no comments; the public hearing was closed at 9:18 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion. made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Becak, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2013- <br />18, as previously captioned with direction to add "negotiated and approved" to Section. 2.02 (b) <br />and to fill in the "Extraordinary Public benefits" section of the agreement.
