36 RESOLUTION 1992- 58 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF THE Søø BLOCK OF PATTON STREET¡ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SPECIAL \ovARRANTY DEED ¡ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHERE.AS, on April 13, 1992, the City of San Marcos approved the solicitation of bids for the sale of a parcel of property on the northeast side of the Søø block of Patton Street, San Marcos, Texas¡ and, WHEREAS, the City has complied with the requirements of Section 272.ØØl of the Texas Local Government Code regarding the sale of property by a municipality¡ and, WHEREAS, on April 3Ø, 1992, the City received one bid of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($2SØ.ØØ) for the sale of the property on Patton Street¡ and, WHEREAS, the successful bidder is aware that the above described property on Patton Street has substandard dimensions relative to current City development regulations and that compliance with all City regulations is required prior to any development of the property¡ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the sale of a parcel of property on the northeast side of the 5ØØ block of Patton Street for Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($25Ø.ØØ) to Rosa Pina is hereby approved. PART 2. That the City hereby relinquishes any right, claim in, or responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the property on Patton Street. PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed conveying to Rosa Pina the property on Patton Street. PART 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 11th MaYþJÆ,~ . Attest:
