contractors (e.g., legal notice requirements and the provision of City facilities for pre-bid conferences). 2.9 Direct the CONSULTANT to perform any Additional Services necessary to complete the Project or shall furnish such services itself. 2.10 Pay all fees for filing and processing permits in connection with the Project. 2.11 Bear all costs incident to this Article. 2.12 Provide its standard construction contract documents which do not include plans or technical specifications, to the CONSULTANT prior to commencement of the design development phase, Paragraph l.3. 2.13 Furnish all necessary field surveys and geotechnical investigations which are required to collect design data. Field surveys for construction purposes generally include the layout of structures, pipelines, roadways, quantity and measurement determinations, and surveys required to establish location of land boundaries and corners. The CONSULTANT shall establish the scope of these surveys as set forth in Article I, Subparagraph 1.2.5. 2.14 Provide building space suitable for use as an office on the resident inspector, the storage of records, drawings, files, samples, contractor submittals and other work related material until thirty (30) days following completion of the project. The space shall be air conditioned and shall be in proximity to the Project location. ARTICLE 3 COBSTRUCTIOR COST 3.1 DEFIBITIOR 3..1.1 The Construction Cost shall be the total cost or estimated cost to the CITY of all elements and phases of the Project designed or specified by the CONSULTANT. 3.1.2 The Construction Cost shall include at current market rates, including a reasonable allowance for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, specified, selected or specially provided for by the CONSULTANT, except that used materials and equipment shall be included as if purchased new for the Project. -12-
