<br /> 77 <br /> This AGREEMENT is made this the 9th day of June , <br /> 19 92 , between the CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to <br /> as "CITY", 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, and HDR <br /> ElIGIIŒERING, INC., 3000 South IH 35, Suite 400, Austin, ~e:xas <br /> 18104-6536, hereinafter referred to as "ENGINEER", for engineering <br /> services in connection with a comprehensive engineering study of <br /> surface water supply for the City of San Marcos municipal water system. <br /> WITNESSETH: CITY and ENGINEER do hereby agree as follows: <br /> AR~ICLE 1 <br /> ElIGIIIEER . S SERVICES AND RESPORSIBILI~IES <br /> ENGINEER shall identify, evaluate and compare available sources of <br /> surface water and water treatment plant site alternatives available to <br /> the CITY and prepare a comprehensive engineering study for the CITY, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "Project." <br /> The ENGINEER's Services shall consist of the following: <br /> 1.1 S~ANDARDS OF PERFORXARCE, QUALIft CORnOL MID SCHEDULING <br /> 1.1.1 In the performance of all engineering services in connection <br /> with this Agreement, the ENGINEER shall use that degree of care and <br /> skill ordinarily exercised for similar projects by professional <br /> engineers who possess special expertise in the type of work involved in <br /> this Project. <br /> 1.1.2 The ENGINEER shall assemble a Project team, comprised of a <br /> project manager, project principal, representatives, technical staff <br /> and a technical review group. The ENGINEER shall meet on a monthly <br /> basis with CITY staff for the duration of the Project. <br /> 1.2 COORDIIIA~IOR MID GEIŒRAL SERVICES <br /> The ENGINEER shall: <br /> 1.2.1 Review existing records, reports, Texas Water Commission <br /> files, and other pertinent information for background on issues to be <br /> covered in the study; <br />
