<br /> 88 <br /> <br /> June 16, 1992 <br /> Mr. Richard Chapman <br /> Workability <br /> 4253 Montgomery Blvd., N.E. <br /> Suite 210 <br /> Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 <br /> LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br /> Dear Mr. Chapman: <br /> This letter shall serve as an agreement between Workability <br /> ("Consultant") and the City of San Marcos ( "City") for <br /> professional services in connection with a survey of City <br /> facilities to assess accessibility for persons with <br /> disabilities and related training for City staff. <br /> The project will be implemented in two phases as follows: <br /> PHASE I - TRAINING: THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT AND <br /> PUBLIC ACCESS TO CITY SERVICES, FACILITIES AND PROGRAMS <br /> <br /> The Consultant shall provide two full days of physical <br /> accessibility training for up to ten City personnel or <br /> representatives per participating City. <br /> 1. Day 1: <br /> a. Sensitivity to Disabilities <br /> The Consultant shall discuss accessibility <br /> issues related to specific disabilities <br /> covered by the Americans with Disabilites Act <br /> ( "ADA") requirements. <br /> b. Major Provisions of the ADA and the <br /> Implications for Public Sector Employers <br /> 1. The Consultant shall discuss personnel <br /> policies and procedures, pre-employment, <br /> job interviews, workers' compensation, <br /> City Hall. 630 East Hopkins.
