SERVICE PLAN May 18, 1992 SOUTHEAST CENTERPOINT ROAD R.O.W. , LOWMAN TRACT ANNEXATION 51.62 acres being comprised of 49.39 acres adjoining the existing City limits on the east side of IH-35, south of Centerpoint Rd. and 2.23 acres out of the Centerpoint Road right-of-way, which adjoins the existing City limits on the east side of IH-35 South and the existing city limit boundary south of the Amended Plat of Factory Shops subdivision, including all existing contiguous Centerpoint Road right-of-way. Pursuant to the provisions of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE, Chapter 43, Subchapter C., section 43.056, there is hereby adopted for the proposed annexation area the following plan of service: 1. POLICE PROTECTION: Patrolling, response to calls and other routine police services using present personnel and equipment will be provided immediately on the effective date of annexation. 2. FIRE PROTECTION: Fire protection with current personnel and facilities will be provided immediately on the effective date of the annexation. The first responding station is located at the corner of Broadway and Parker Street. 3. SOLID WASTE COLLECTION: Businesses and institutions must make arrangements with private haulers for solid waste disposal. 4. PROVISION OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICES IN THE ANNEXED AREA THAT ARE NOT WITHIN THE SERVICE AREA OF ANOTHER WATER OR WASTEWATER UTILITY: The property owner will be required to extend and connect to existing City sewer facilities in accordance with the City's development ordinances. Upon completion and dedication of the new facilities to the City, the city shall provide maintenance of the facilities. The City's utility extension policy may be summarized as follows: "Extension of City Facilities: Where it is necessary, in order to properly serve the subdivision, that extension of existing City utilities be made or that drainage facilities be constructed outside the subdivision, which extensions of such facilities are here referred to as "off-site
