<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
<br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING LOTS 1-5 OF
<br /> BLOCK D OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF THE HUGHSON
<br /> HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS,. AS RECORDED ON PAGE 122 OF
<br /> VOLUME 1 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, AND
<br /> LOT 6 OF BLOCK D OF THE HUGHSON HEIGHTS
<br /> ADDITION NO.1 TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY, TEXAS AS RECORDED ON PAGE 129 OF
<br /> VOLUME 1 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS,
<br /> LOCATED AT 2626 NORTH L.B.J. DRIVE FROM "R-1"
<br /> SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY)
<br /> AND "DP-2" TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
<br /> (MEDIUM DENSITY) TO "MF-4" MULTI-FAMILY
<br /> DWELLING DISTRICT (HIGH DENSITY) AND DECLARING
<br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 7, 1992, the Zoning Commission of the City
<br /> of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change
<br /> the zoning from "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density)
<br /> and "DP-2" Two-Family Dwelling District (Medium Density) to "MF-4"
<br /> Multi-Family Dwelling District (High Density) for Lots 1-5 of Block
<br /> D of the Resubdivision of the Hughson Heights Subdivision in the
<br /> City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, as recorded on Page 122 of
<br /> Volume 1 of the Hays County Plat Records, and Lot 6 of Block D of
<br /> the Hughson Heights Addition No.1 to the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br /> County, Texas as recorded on Page 129 of Volume 1 of the Hays
<br /> County Plat Records, located at 2626 North L.B.J. Drive.
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the puÞlic hearing on that date, the
<br /> Commission did, on April 7, 1992 consider the request and voted to
<br /> approve it and has recommended that the request be approved by the
<br /> City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 10th
<br /> day of August , 1992, regarding the request; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the
<br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the city, as
<br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby
<br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located in
<br /> San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "R-1"
<br /> Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) and "DP-2" Two-family
<br /> Dwelling District (Medium Density) to "MF-4" Multi-Family Dwelling
<br /> District (High Density):
<br /> LOTS 1-5 OF BLOCK D OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF THE HUGHSON
<br /> HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED ON PAGE 122 OF VOLUME 1 OF THE
<br /> HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, AND LOT 6 OF BLOCK D OF THE
<br /> HUGHSON HEIGHTS ADDITION NO.1 TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
