KAISER FOR AP- <br /> PRAISAL SERVICES CONNECTED WITH THE PROPOSED ACQUI- <br /> SITION OF LAND AND AN INTEREST IN LAND IN THE VICINITY <br /> OF THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Brown moved the Resolution be removed from the table for considera- <br /> tion and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mrs. Norris then moved for the adoption of the Resolution and Mrs. <br /> Mendez seconded the motion. The Council unanimously denied approval <br /> of the Resolution. <br /> Mayor Craddock then introduced for the Council's consideration alternate <br /> appraisals of (1) Charles H. Noble, Jr., Inc. and (2) George Scott Bin- <br /> ford for appraisal services connected with the proposed acquisition of <br /> land and interest in land in the vicinity of the Municipal Airport. Mr. <br /> Moore moved for approval of the alternate appraisal of George Scott Bin- <br /> ford, a copy of which is attached to these minutes, and Mr. Farr second- <br /> ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to bid a street <br /> sweeper. Mr. Brown moved for approval to bid a street sweeper and <br /> Mr. Moore seconded the motion. Public Works Director George Boeker <br /> said his department had reviewed the cost of contracting street sweep- <br /> ing out, and he felt the City could do the work in-house for less on <br /> a year to year basis, by utilizing the sweeper 16 hours per day rath- <br /> er than 8 hours per day. The Council voted unanimously in favor to <br /> bid the street sweeper. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:50 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Farr and <br /> seconded by Mr. Brown. <br /> Karl W.
