-3- IV. COORDINATION OF REVIEW OF RECORDED TEXAS HISTORIC LANDMARKS, NATIONAL REGISTER PROPERTIES AND LOCALLY DESIGNATED PROPERTIES The City Historic Preservation Commission shall make every effort to review those properties designated as Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks, National Register properties and as local landmarks under the adopted Secretary of Interior's Standards and as specified by the Rules and Procedures for Certified Local Governments as approved by the National Park Service. The City shall notify the Texas Historical Commission and the Hays County Historical Commission of its review and recommendation within a reasonable time period. If an unpermitted alteration or demolition occurs to any Recorded Texas Historical Landmark or National Register listed property, the City Historic Preservation commission will notify the Hays County Historical Commission. Similar information on locally designated properties may be forwarded as a matter of courtesy. V. COORDINATION OF CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES The City Historic Preservation commission and the Certified Local Government Commi ttee of Hays County Historical Commission may coordinate on activities funded or sponsored by the Certified Local Government program. Such coordination shall be approved by both Commissions and be reflected in all materials produced in support of an activity. The coordination of such activities is not required as a result of this agreement but is to be determined on a case-by-case basis by the two Certified Local Governments. VI. MANAGEMENT OF CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT GRANTS The City Historic Preservation Commission and the Certified Local Government Committee of the Hays coúnty Historical Commission shall apply for and manage separately all Certified Local Government grants in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Historical Commission and National Park Service. VII. COORDINATION OF SURVEY AND INVENTORY MATERIAL ON HISTORIC PROPERTIES The City Historic Preservation Commission and the Hays County Historical Commission shall coordinate the survey and inventory of historic properties in overlapping jurisdictions. This may include but not be limited to duplication of identified properties, file materials such as applications and designations, and photo documentation such as slides and prints. This stipulation does not obligate one Certified Local Government to provide such material to the other without cost of duplication or printing. Any costs incurred may be covered by a certified Local Government grant to the requesting party.
