<br /> -2- <br /> minutes, and accompanying materials shall be forwarded to the <br /> designated representative or certified Local Government in a <br /> reasonable time period before scheduled meetings. The designated <br /> representative may inquire dur ing meetings as to the nature of <br /> proposed activities with such comment recorded in minutes. The <br /> intent of this stipulation is to ensure adequate communication and <br /> cooperation between these certified Local Governments on proposed <br /> activities and programs. <br /> II. REVIEW OF NATIONAL REGISTER NOMINATIONS <br /> The City and County shall be responsible for proposed nominations <br /> to the National Register of Historic Places as follows: All <br /> nominations received within the city limits or extraterritorial <br /> jurisdiction of the City shall be reviewed and commented on by the <br /> City Historic Preservation commission and chief elected official of <br /> the City; all nominations received outside of the city limits and <br /> extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City shall be reviewed and <br /> commented on by the Hays County Historical Commission, certified <br /> Local Government Committee, and the chief elected official of the <br /> County. Proposed nominations reviewed by the City Historic <br /> Preservation Commission may be commented on by the Certified Local <br /> Government Committee of the Hays County Historical commission. The <br /> Texas Historical commission may forward such City nominations to <br /> the designated representative for the County concurrent with <br /> notification to the City Historic Preservation Committee and chief <br /> elected official of the City. <br /> III. REVIEW OF TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION MARKER APPLICATIONS <br /> The Hays County Historical Commission, as a whole, shall remain <br /> responsible for the review and recommendation of all applications <br /> for Texas Historical Commission official markers, either subject or <br /> Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. As a matter of courtesy, the <br /> Texas Historical Commission shall notify the designated <br /> representative of the City as to any marker applications that are <br /> approved within the city limits or extraterritorial jurisdiction of <br /> the city. Texas Historical Commission may also notify the <br /> designated representative of the City as to any marker applications <br /> that are approved within the city limits or extraterritorial <br /> jurisdiction of the city. The City Historic Preservation <br /> Commission shall note on its records such designation and as part <br /> of the agreement as a Certified Local Government shall notify the <br /> Texas Historical Commission of proposed alterations or impending <br /> demolition of Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks within its <br /> jurisdiction. <br />
