Brown <br /> Gerald G. Farr <br /> John A. Kreczmer <br /> Jaime Moore <br /> Tess Norris <br /> City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br /> City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br /> City Attorney Barbara Jean Edwards <br /> Director of Public Works George Boeker <br /> Police Chief Myron Galchutt <br /> City Planner Joe Garza <br /> Also Present: Pee Wee Dougherty, Fred Guerra, Jack Lindstrom, Pat Nor- <br /> wood, Nina pryatel, Betty Kissler, Bill Nicola, Olga Garza and others. <br /> Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br /> the Regular Meeting held February 14, 1983. Mrs. Norris moved for ap- <br /> proval of the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br /> the Emergency Meeting held February 17, 1983. Mr. Farr moved to approve <br /> the minutes and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- <br /> ly. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br /> the Special Meeting held February 22, 1983. Mrs. Norris moved to approve <br /> the minutes and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointment to <br /> the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals to complete the va- <br /> cancy of Lydia Feltner, whose term expires in July, 1983. Mrs. Norris <br /> placed the name of Jim Kelley in nomination and Mr. Kreczmer seconded <br /> the motion, which passed unanimously. Mrs. Norris then moved that Jim <br /> Kelley be appointed and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing on a zoning request to rezone <br /> Lot Nos. 104 and 107, Park Addition, located at Chestnut and Live Oak, <br /> from "R-l" to "D". No one wished to speak in favor and no one wished <br /> to speak in opposition to the zoning request, so Mayor Craddock closed <br /> the public hearing. The Zoning Ordinance was then considered on first <br /> reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS AND LOCATION AND USE <br /> OF BUILDING-S, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br /> 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING LOT NOS. 104 AND 107 OF <br /> THE PARK/ADDITION, A/K/A 906 CHESTNUT, FROM "R-l" <br /> (SING~E::::FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "D" (MULTI- <br /> FAMIt~,DWELLING DISTRICT). <br /> Mr. Farr moved to deny approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br /> Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Ordin- <br /> ance will have no further reading and cannot come before the Council <br /> for approval before the lapse of one year, at which time it would have to be <br /> presented to the Zoning Commission again. <br />
