Mrs. <br /> Norris moved to approve the revision which would include micro-com- <br /> puter equipment to be provided with emphasis on immediacy of need, <br /> and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approv~of revisions to <br /> the proposed Master Plan concerning Parks and Recreation (P. IX-33). <br /> Mrs. Norris moved to approve the revisions which amends verbage to <br /> read "neighborhood parks" instead of "vest pocket parks" and to read <br /> "city parks" instead of "neighborhood parks", and Pgs. IX-44 and IX-46 <br /> to read "neighborhood park" instead of "vest pocket park", and Mr. <br /> Kreczmer seconded the motion. Bill Nicola addressed the Council con- <br /> cerning a bikeway be included in the Master Plan, and the Council's <br /> consensus was that they would favorably consider a specific proposal <br /> for a bikeway to be included in the Master Plan. The Council then <br /> voted unanimous approval of the Parks and Recreation revisions. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br /> on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN FOR SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS; REPEALING THE 1970 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR SAID <br /> CITY; REQUIRING A PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO AMENDMENT <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mrs. Norris moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading, as <br /> above revised, and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br /> mously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br /> on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 33-8 OF THE CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO INCREASE <br /> THE FEES CHARGED BY PARTICIPATING COMMERCIAL TOWING <br /> AND WRECKER SERVICES FOR TOWS AUTHORIZED BY THE SAN <br /> MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on second reading and Mr. <br /> Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br /> on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "CODE <br /> OF ETHICS" OF CHAPTER 2, ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATION" <br /> OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF SAN !1ARCOS, TEXAS, <br /> TO ESTABLISH THAT FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS ARE <br /> OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; TO REQUIRE THAT CANDIDATES FILE <br /> A SWORN STATEMENT WITH THE CITY SECRETARY; TO DEFINE <br /> CANDIDATE, TO ELIMINATE AN OBSOLETE SUBSECTION AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Brown moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br /> reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
