9 Regular Meeting March 14, 1983 Page 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 29-123 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD FOUR LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY AT WHICH PARKING SHALL BE PROHIBIT- ED; DECLARING A PENALTY, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Moore moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of revision to the proposed Master Plan concerning density. The Planning Commission recommended to the Council changing the denisty levels from: 0-4 low, 4-l2 medium and more than 12 high to 0-6 low, 6-12 medium and more than 12 high. Mr. Farr moved to approve the recommendation and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN FOR SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; REPEALING THE 1970 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR SAID CITY; REQUIRING A PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO AMENDMENT OF THE MASTER PLAN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to table the Ordinance on third and final reading until the Master Plan is printed and returned to the Council in final form. Mr. Garza stated it could be brought to the Council in final form at the March 28 Council Meeting. Mr. Kreczmer seconded the mo- tion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN 14ARCOS, TEXAS, &\1ENDING SECTION 33-8 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO INCREASE THE FEES CHARGED BY PARTICIPATING COMMERCIAL TOWING AND WRECKER SERVICES FOR TOWS AUTHORIZED BY THE SAN .f\ffiRCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 0.23 OF AN ACRE OF LAND OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 1 IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A/K/A 2101 HUNTER ROAD, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTUR- AL-OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DIS- TRICT). Mr. Farr moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
