CONFLICTING ORDINANCES¡ PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY¡ PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION¡ AND PROVIDING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> , <br /> WHEREAS ,° on December 3, 1991, the Zoning Commission of <br /> the City of San Marcos (the "Commission") held a public <br /> hearing to consider amendments to the following sections of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance: Sections 19(A), 2Ø(A), 21 (A) <br /> and 22 (A) with regard :J:.o the' occupancy of townhouses in <br /> mul ti- family districts¡ and Section 36 (F) with regard to <br /> minimuI!1 side setback for townho~ses on corner lots¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to' that- public hearing, the <br /> Commission considered the amendments and voted to approve all <br /> the amendments and has recommended that these amendments be <br /> approved by the City Council¡ and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 3, 1992, the Commission held a public <br /> hearing to consider an amendment to Section 26(B) of the <br /> General Zoning Ordinance ;-egarding the addition of <br /> fraternity/sorority buildings not located on college or <br /> university property as specific uses in the Public and <br /> Institutional District¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to - that public hearing, the <br /> Commission considered the amendment and voted to approve the <br /> amendment and has recommended that the am~ndment be approved <br /> by the City Council¡ and; <br /> - 0' - <br /> - <br /> WHEREAS, on March 17, 1992, the 'Commission held a public <br /> hearing to consider amendments to the following sections of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance: Section 37(A)(25) and 41(C)(4) <br /> regarding the regulation of off-street parking¡ and Section <br /> 41(C)(2) regarding the types of provisions eligible for the <br /> i granting of variance 'by the Zoning Board of Adjustments¡ <br /> ! a <br /> , and; <br /> I <br /> I <br /> - - - . <br /> ; <br /> ~ffiEREAS, subsequent to that public hearing, the <br /> Commission considered the amendments and, voted to approve all <br /> the amendments and has 'recommended that. these amendments be <br /> approved by the City Council¡ and, <br />
