The highest kW demand established during any 30 minute <br /> period during the month; <br />b. 65% of the highest kW demand established during the <br /> immediately preceding 11 months; <br />c. 30 kW. <br /> ~ <br />POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br />The monthly metered demand may be adjusted to an equivalent <br />90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any <br />point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such <br />adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of <br />delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. <br />INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br />The City will make reasonable provisions to insure <br />satisfactory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a <br />continuous supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be <br />liable for damage occasioned by interruptions of service or <br />failure to commence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public <br />enemy, or for any cause reasonably beyond its control, including, <br />but not limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities, floods, <br />fire, strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having <br />jurisdiction in the premises, or for interruptions which are <br />necessary for inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or <br />facilities of the city or its bulk power suppliers. <br />The Customer shall notify the city immediately of any defects, <br />trouble or accident which may in any way affect the delivery of <br />electric service by the city. <br /> 9 <br />
