<br /> ¿ Il:L <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br />ISSUED BY: CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SHEET NO. - <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: 3/1/92 REVISION NO. - <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - DEPOSITS <br />AMOUNT OF DEPOSIT <br />The required deposit for residential customers shall be the <br />greater of <br />(a) $ 50.00 <br />(b) an amount equivalent to one sixth (1/6) of either <br /> the estimated annual billings to that service <br /> location or an estimated annual billing to similar <br /> dwellings or services. <br />The required deposit for General Service customers shall be <br />set by the utility based on any or all of the following: (a) <br />square footage, (b) previous consumption and billing, (c) type of <br />business, (d) type service required to be provided by the Utility, <br />or (e) comparison to similar existing commercial accounts. <br />The city may require a deposit sufficient to reasonably <br />protect against the assumed risk of temporary, weekend, or <br />personal service, provided such policy is applied in a uniform and <br />nondiscriminatory manner. <br />These deposits shall be returned according to guidelines set <br />out in REFUND OF DEPOSIT below. <br /> I <br />DEPOSITS NOT TRANSFERRABLE <br />Deposits are non-transferrable and will be refunded and/or <br />applied to the final bill upon disconnection of service. <br />RECORDS OF DEPOSITS <br />The city shall keep records to show: <br />(1) The name and address of each depositor; and <br />(2) The amount and date of the deposits. <br /> 36 <br />
