<br /> ~AM <br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br />ISSUED BY: CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SHEET NO. - <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: 3/1/92 REVISION NO. - <br /> <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - DEPOSITS <br />RECORDS OF DEPOSITS (continued) <br />The city shall issue a receipt of deposit to each applicant <br />from whom a deposit is received, and shall provide means whereby a <br />depositor may establish claim if the receipt is lost. <br />A record of each unclaimed deposit must be maintained for at <br />least four years, during which time the City shall make a <br />reasonable effort to return the deposit. <br />REFUND OF DEPOSIT <br /> ~ <br />If service is not connected or after disconnection of <br />service, the city shall promptly and automatically refund the <br />customer's deposit in excess of unpaid bills for service <br />furnished. <br />When a customer has had no late payment during the last <br />twelve (12) consecutive months or less than four (4) late payments <br />during the last twenty four (24) consecutive months, the utility <br />will refund the deposit to the customer in the form of cash or a <br />credit to the customer's bill or by surrendering the letter of <br />credit, if a letter of credit was po$ted. <br /> 37 <br />
