Disconnection Service Charqe <br /> <br />When service has been discontinued under the provision of <br />these Rules and Regulations, a charge for reconnect ion during <br />regular business hours of $20.00, or such amount as may be <br />established from time to time based on the City's experienced <br />cost of providing similar service, shall be made. <br />< <br />, <br />If the reconnection is made at a time other than regular <br />business hours at the customer's request, a charge <br />commensurate with the extra cost of the reconnection will be <br />added to the regularly established reconnection charge. <br /> <br /> <br />DISPUTED BILLS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />When a customer believes that the amount of any bill rendered by <br />the city for service of electricity is in error, the customer <br />should: ' <br /> <br />(1) request an explanation of the, bill from the electric <br />utility office of the city and if this does not resolve <br />the matter, <br /> <br />(2) request, in writing, an investigation of the matter, <br />setting forth all information relative to the dispute. <br />¡ <br />The city will investigate the matter promptly and <br />communicate, in writing, its findings to the customer <br />and refund an amount paid by the customer in accordance <br />with its findings. Any balance still remaining will be <br />due immediately. If the customer is still not <br />satisfied, a complaint can be filed with the Electric <br />utility Board of the city. Should this occur, only the <br />amount described above shall be required during the <br />investigation of the complaint or for 60 days whichever <br />is less. <br /> <br />The City will not discontinue service nor will the <br />customer's credit be impaired during such <br />investigation. The customer does not waive any rights <br />he may have by following the procedure set out above. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-45- <br />
