(PAV CITY OF SAN MARCOS . RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE PAYMENT OF BILLS A. Payment ~ Bills for service will be based upon the metered consumption . as billed under the applicable rate schedule. They will be rendered at regular intervals, and are due and payable within fifteen (15) days from the date of issuance of the bill. The customer will pay the net amount of the bill if paid on or before t1;1.e due date. All other bills are due on presentation. Payment from state agencies must be received within thirty (30) days from receipt of bill, and any unpaid amount will be subject to a 1% per month interest charge. Payments of charges for connection or reconnection of service and payments of Ì:nitial deposits or reinstated deposits as required under the Rules and Regulations of the city shall be made before service will be connected or disconnected.. ~ For other information concerning assistance in paying a bill, customers should contact the City's electric utility office. INSTALLATION ON CUSTOMER'S PREMISES A. Meters, Transformers and Other Equipment All meters, transformers, regulators, services, fixtures, etc., which are installed by' the City upon the customer's premises for the purpose of delivering electricity to the customer remain the property of the City and may be repaired, replaced or removed by the city at any time. No rent or other charge whatsoever will be made by the customer against the City for placing or maintaining said meters, transformers, regulators, fixtures, etc., upon the customer's premises. B. Installations All service meters installed on the customer's premises shall be located either at a point where the service enters the building, or at .a point adjacent to the front or rear property line so as to be accessible at all times for inspecting, reading and testing. -46-
