<br />(PAV <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br /> <br /> <br />A. Payment <br /> <br />~ Bills for service will be based upon the metered consumption <br />. as billed under the applicable rate schedule. They will be <br />rendered at regular intervals, and are due and payable within <br />fifteen (15) days from the date of issuance of the bill. The <br />customer will pay the net amount of the bill if paid on or <br />before t1;1.e due date. All other bills are due on <br />presentation. Payment from state agencies must be received <br />within thirty (30) days from receipt of bill, and any unpaid <br />amount will be subject to a 1% per month interest charge. <br /> <br />Payments of charges for connection or reconnection of service <br />and payments of Ì:nitial deposits or reinstated deposits as <br />required under the Rules and Regulations of the city shall be <br />made before service will be connected or disconnected.. <br />~ <br /> <br />For other information concerning assistance in paying a bill, <br />customers should contact the City's electric utility office. <br /> <br /> <br />INSTALLATION ON CUSTOMER'S PREMISES <br /> <br /> <br />A. Meters, Transformers and Other Equipment <br /> <br />All meters, transformers, regulators, services, fixtures, <br />etc., which are installed by' the City upon the customer's <br />premises for the purpose of delivering electricity to the <br />customer remain the property of the City and may be repaired, <br />replaced or removed by the city at any time. <br /> <br />No rent or other charge whatsoever will be made by the <br />customer against the City for placing or maintaining said <br />meters, transformers, regulators, fixtures, etc., upon the <br />customer's premises. <br /> <br />B. Installations <br /> <br />All service meters installed on the customer's premises shall <br />be located either at a point where the service enters the <br />building, or at .a point adjacent to the front or rear <br />property line so as to be accessible at all times for <br />inspecting, reading and testing. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />-46- <br />
