<br /> _. c'AW <br />- <br /> \ <br /> ~ CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br /> INSTALLATION ON CUSTOMER'S PREMISES (continued) <br /> When it is necessary to install a transformer vault on the <br /> customer's premises, the City reserves the right to require <br /> the customer to furnish and maintain said vault at customer's <br />t expense in accordance with the City's- standards. <br /> The city r~serves the right to refuse to render service to <br /> any applicant or tó any èustomer where such service will <br /> affect service rendered to City's other customers adversely, <br /> or where, in the City's judgement, the wiring or electrical <br /> equipment to be served is hazardous. <br /> METER READING AND BILLING <br />A. Regularly Scheduled Periods ~ <br /> The city will read its meters at the end of regularly <br /> scheduled periods. When for any reason the periods covered <br /> by such readings are substantially greater or less than the <br /> regular periods, bills may be computed by prorating on the <br /> basis of the regularly scheduled period covered by the meter <br /> readings. <br />B. Estimatinq Consumption <br /> In the event that the scheduled reading of meters is not <br /> possible because of inability to gain access to the meter <br /> locations, the city will estimate the consumption, and for <br /> the periods between actual readings the City will render <br /> appropriately marked estimated bills for the periods <br /> involved. The bills so provided shall have the same force <br /> and effect as if they were based on actual meter readings, <br /> and shall be paid in accordance with the terms of the <br /> applicable rate schedule and regulations contained herein <br /> under "Payment of Bills". <br />C. Bills for electric service shall be rendered monthly unless <br /> service is rendered for a period less than a month. Bills <br /> shall be rendered as promptly as possible following the <br /> reading of meters. <br /> -47- <br />
