<br />(c;A'i5 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS ' <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br />\ <br /> <br />METERED CONSUMPTIONS NOT COMBINED (continued) <br /> <br />(b) Where the maintenance of adequate service and/or where <br />the. City's operating.-, c'onvenience shall r:equire the <br />installation of two or more meters upon the customer '.s <br />premises instead of one meter. <br /> <br />INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> <br /> <br />A. The city will exercise reasonable diligence and care to avoid <br />any interruption Qf or . reduction in the delivery of <br />electricity. The City shall not be liable for any damages or <br />claims arising from any failure to deliver electric power and <br />energy to the customer, which failure in any way or manner <br />results from failure of its facilities, however caused, or <br />from failure of any supplier to provide necessary products, <br />materials or services necessary to the continuity of electric <br />service. - <br /> <br />B. The City, whenever it shall find it necessarx for the purpose <br />of making repairs or improvements to its system, will have <br />the right to interrupt temporarily the delivery of service. <br />Normally, when a primary distribution line clearance is <br />neèded, a reasonable notice will be given to the customers of <br />the proposed interruption when it occurs other than under <br />emergency conditions. The city considers notice to customers <br />by way of public media to be a reasonable notice. The making <br />of such repairs as practicable, to cause the least <br />inconvenience to the customer. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY'S RIGHT TO ACCESS TO CUSTOMER'S PREMISES <br /> <br /> <br />The City shall have the right to access to the customer's premises <br />for any purpose reasonably connected with the furnishing of <br />electricity to its customers. <br /> <br />The city shall have the right to remove its property installed on <br />the customer's premises at the termination or discontinuance of <br />service. <br /> <br /> <br />SERVICE CONNECTIONS MADE BY CITY <br /> <br /> <br />Only duly authorized employees of the City's Operating Agent are <br />allowed to connect the Customer I s service to, or disconnect the <br />same from, the City power line. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I <br />I -50- <br />
