<br /> :¿. )~ <br /> 4.07 Hauling - The Contractor shall be responsible for <br /> separation of Commodities by type. All Corrnnodities <br /> hauled by the Contractor shall be so contained, tied or <br /> enclosed that leaking, spilling or blowing is <br /> prevented. <br /> 4.08 Delivery - All Commodities collected for delivery.and <br /> sale by the Contractor shall be hauled to a Commodity <br /> Buyer selected by the Contractor or, if necessary, to <br /> a landfill. The charge for delivery to the Commodity <br /> Buyer or landfill shall be included in the rate set <br /> forth in the Proposal for each Residential Unit <br /> serviced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall <br /> provide the City with the name, address and processing <br /> site location of each Commodity Buyer used by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 4.09 Notification - The Contractor shall notify all <br /> customers about complaint procedures, sorting, <br /> preparing for collection, regulations, and day(s) for <br /> scheduled Recyclable Materials collection. The <br /> Contractor shall also inform the public of any <br /> condition and form required of materials to be <br /> collected. <br /> 4.10 Point of Contact - All dealings, contacts, etc., <br /> between the Contractor and the City sha~l be directed <br /> by the Contractor to the Director of Public Works and <br /> by the City to Jack Clement, Marketing Manager. Points <br /> of Contact may be changed by written notice by one <br /> party to the other. <br /> 4.11 Discontinuation. Resumption of Service - Contractor <br /> shall discontinue recyclable collection service to any <br /> location as set forth in a written notice sent to the <br /> Contractor by the Director of Public Works office. <br /> Upon further notification by the Director, the <br /> Contractor shall resume' collection service at the <br /> location on the next regularly scheduled collection <br /> day. <br /> 4.12 Identification - Contractor's employees, officers and <br /> agents shall, at no time identify themselves as being <br /> employees or agents of the City. Contractor's <br /> employees shall be required to wear a clean uniform <br /> bearing the Contractor's name and the individual's <br /> identification. The color of the uniform shall be <br /> other than that worn by City employees. <br /> 4.13 SDillaqe - The employees shall exercise care and <br /> diligence in collection recyclable materials, and must <br /> work so as to prevent spillage or scattering of <br /> recyclable materials, and shall immediately at the time <br /> of occurrence, clean up any such spillage or <br /> scattering.
