<br /> 42 <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR <br /> MUNICIPAL LANDFILL MONITORING <br /> This AGREE~1ENT is made this the 11th day of December , <br />19 90 between the CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to <br />as "OWNER', 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, and <br />T'IcCULLEY, FRICK AND GILHAN, INC., 5818 Ba1cones Drive, Suite 202, <br />Austin, Texas, 78731, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT", for <br />hydrogeological, hydrological, geochemical, and environmental <br />services in connection with the Hunicipal Landfill Ground Water <br />Assessment. <br /> WITNESSETH: Owner and Consultant do hereby agree as follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1 <br /> CONSULTANT'S SERVICES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> Consultant shall be responsible for the proper, accurate and <br />adequate performance of such sampling services detailed in the <br />Texas Department of Health letter dated October 11, 1990, <br />consisting generally of: <br /> -collection of groundwater samples from landfill <br />monitoring wells in accordance with Texas Department of Health and <br />Environmental Protection Agency protocols. <br /> -field measurements of pH, specific conductance and <br />temperature. <br /> -transfer of samples to a qualified analytical laboratory <br />for general chemistry parameters, priority pollutant volatile <br />organic compound, and other analyses required by the Texas <br />Department of Health. <br /> -1- <br />
