<br /> 2 <br /> (7) "Existing landscaping plant" means a landscaping <br /> plant planted during any period for which a water <br /> conservation plan stage has not been declared or <br /> during a stage which, together with all preceding <br /> and succeeding stages, has been rescinded. <br /> (8) "New facility" means a swimming pool, hot tub or <br /> any similar facili ty , including residential and <br /> private facilities, installed during any current <br /> water conservation plan stage. When the stage <br /> together with all other stages which precede or <br /> succeed that stage in a continuous time period, are <br /> rescinded, such new facility will be treated <br /> thereafter as an existing facility. This term does <br /> not include wading pools or pools specifically <br /> maintained to provide habitat for aquatic life. <br /> (9) "Existing facility" means a swimming pool, hot tub <br /> or any similar facility, including residential and <br /> private facilities, installed during any period for <br /> which a water conservation plan stages, has not <br /> been declared or during a stage which, together <br /> with all preceding and succeeding stages has been <br /> rescinded. This term does not include pools <br /> specifically maintained to provide habitat for <br /> aquatic life. <br /> (10) "Vegetable garden I' means any non-commercial garden <br /> planted primarily for household use. For this use <br /> "non-commercialll includes incidental direct selling <br /> of produce from such a vegetable garden to the <br /> public. <br /> (11) "Aesthetic use" means the use of water for <br /> fountains, waterfalls, and landscape lakes and <br /> ponds where such use is entirely ornamental and <br /> serves no other functional purpose. <br /> (12) "Other outside usell means the use of water outdoors <br /> for the maintenance, cleaning and washing of <br /> structures and mobile equipment, including <br /> automobiles and boats, and the washing of streets, <br /> driveways, sidewalks, patios and other similar <br /> areas. <br /> (13) "Waste" includes, but is not limited to, allowing <br /> water to run off into a gutter, ditch or drain, or <br /> failing to repair a controllable leak. <br /> (14) "Impervious surface arean means any structure or <br /> any street, driveway, sidewalk, patio or other <br /> surface area covered with brick, pavIng, tile or <br /> other impervious material. <br /> (15) nHealth care facility" means any hospital, clinic, <br /> nursing home or other health care or medical <br /> research facility. <br /> (16) nWater utility use" means water used for <br /> withdrawal, treatment, transmission and <br /> distribution by potable water systems. <br /> (17) nPower production use" means the use of water for <br /> steam generation and the use of water for cooling <br /> and for replenishment of cooling reservoirs. <br /> (l8) nAgricultural irrigation" means irrigation for the <br /> purpose of growing crops commercially for human <br /> consumption or to use as feed for livestock or <br />
