<br /> 60 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 10 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> OF A LETTER AGREEMENT BET'VvEEN THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS AND THE TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION <br /> REFLECTING THE CITY'S COMMITMENT TO CONTINUE AS AN <br /> OFFICIAL GRADUATE MAIN STREET CITY: AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT: AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has the opportunity <br /> to continue as an official graduate city in the Texas Main <br /> Street Program: and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to continue as an <br /> official graduate city in the Texas Main Street Program: now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a letter <br /> agreement between the City of San Marcos and the Texas <br /> Historical Commission, reflecting the City's commitment to <br /> continue as an official graduate Main Street City, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> intents and purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br /> hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behal f of the <br /> City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br /> force and effect from and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this 28th day <br /> ?J~ør~ <br /> Janis K. Womack <br /> City Secretary <br />
