<br />(2) The financial status of the applicant including the <br />amounts of all unpaid judgments against the <br />applicant and the nature of the transaction or acts <br />giving rise to the judgments; <br /> <br />(3) If the applicant is a corporation, the name and <br />place of residence of all of the officers of the <br />corporation, a certified copy of its charter and by <br />laws, the amount of capital stock, the character <br />and value of its assets, its liabilities and the <br />security therefor, and if the corporation is a <br />foreign corporation, a certified copy of its <br />certificate of authority to transact business in <br />the state; <br /> <br />(4) The experience of the applicant in the <br />transportation of passengers; <br /> <br />(5) The type of limousine service (luxury or airport or <br />both) for which the certificate is sought; <br /> <br />(6) The make, model, seating capacity, vehicle <br />identification number and state license number of <br />each motor vehicle to be operated by the applicant; <br /> <br />(7) The name, address and phone number of the person <br />who will be in active charge and control of the <br />limousine service; and <br /> <br />(8) For airport limousine services, a description of <br />each fixed route and all passenger pickup and <br />discharge locations proposed for use. <br /> <br />The application shall be accompanied by a certificate <br />verifying the existence of the insurance coverage required <br />under Section 15~-6. <br /> <br />Sec. lS~-4. Public hearing. <br /> <br />Upon the filing of an application, the city secretary <br />shall set a time and place for a public hearing by the city <br />council. Notice of the hearing shall be given to the <br />applicant and shall also be given by publication at least <br />ten (10) days prior to the date set for the hearing in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the city. <br /> <br /> <br />Sec. lS~-S. Issuance of certificate. <br /> <br />If the city council, after a public hearing finds that <br />the applicant is fit, willing and able to perform the <br />limousine service (s) applied for, and to conform to the <br />provisions of this chapter, then the city council shall <br />direct the city secretary to issue a certificate stating the <br />name and address of the applicant, the number of vehicles <br />authorized, the type(s) of limousine service authorized, and <br />the date of issuance. For airport limousine services, the <br />certificate shall also describe the fixed routes and the <br />passenger pickup and discharge locations to be used. <br /> <br />Sec. lS~-6. Insurance reauired. <br /> <br />Each holder of a certificate for the operation of a <br />limousine service shall at all times during the term of such <br />certificate maintain a policy of liability insurance issued <br />by an insurance company authorized to do business in the <br />state on all motor vehicles operated under the certificate <br />in the following minimum amounts: $100,000.00 for bodily <br />injury to anyone person; $300,000.00 for injuries to all <br />persons in the same accident; and $100,000.00 for property <br />damage resulting from anyone accident.
