It is understood and agreed that neither the method of computation of rent, nor any other provision of the Lease, nor any acts of the parties, shall be deemed to create any relationship between the parties other than the relationship of landlord and tenant. 14.8 CA warrants that it has no dealings with any broker or agent in connection with the negotiation or execution of this Lease and CA agrees to indemnify and hold the CITY harmless from and against any and all costs, expense or liability for commissions or other compensations and charges claimed by any broker or agent with respect to this Lease. 14.9 Should CA fail to pay when due any rent, or any other sum payable to the CITY under the terms of this Lease, the CITY may charge interest at the maximum legal rate payable in the State of Texas and the interest shall accrue from and after the date on which it shall be due and payable. The interest shall be paid by the CA to the CITY at the time of payment of the sum upon which the interest shall have accrued. 14.10 CA shall not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, age, sex or national origin in the provision of any of its services and assistance. 14.11 CITY agrees that if any future construction occurs on the site of the leased premises, such construction shall be planned and conducted in such a way as to cause no unreasonable obstruction of the CA's use of the property during normal business hours. 14.12 CA warrants and represents that it has full authority to enter into this Lease, and that it has complied with all prerequisites prescribed by law for its entering into this Lease. ARTICLE 15 NOTICES 15.1 Wherever any notice is required or permitted in this Lease, it shall be in writing.
