<br /> 117 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 30 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY AND FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. PERTAINING TO <br /> A WATER AND WASTEWATER RATE STUDY~ AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT~ AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff has initiated a request for <br /> proposals for the conduct of a water and wastewater rate <br /> study in accordance with authorization of the City Council on <br /> November 26, 199Ø~ and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff has recommended the selection of <br /> the firm of Freese and Nichol s, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas to <br /> perform this study based upon a comparison of a number of <br /> submitted proposals~ and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to have this study undertaken <br /> by Freese and Nichols, Inc. in accordance with the letter <br /> agreement attached to this Resolution~ now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the letter <br /> agreement attached to this Resolution between the City and <br /> Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the conduct of a water and <br /> wastewater rate study are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is <br /> hereby authorized to execute the Letter Agreement on behal f <br /> of the City. <br /> PART 3.
