Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows:, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, SAME BEING THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE AND ZONING YillP OF SAID CITY WHICH REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND IN SAID CITY, TO CHANGE THE ZONING AND USE DESIGNATION OF FORTY (40) ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE ORIGINAL TO~ OF SAN MARCOS, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM "c" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "CBA" , CENTRAL BUSINESS AREA DISTRICT AND TO INCLUDE SAID LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CENTRAL BUSI- NESS AREA DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Kreczmer. NAY: Moore. ABSTAIN: None. Mr. Brown requested a Workshop be held on this Ordinance prior to its adoption, and the Council set the Workshop for May 2, 1983 following their Special Meeting at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Craddock stated the next item on the agenda was the adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading which would adopt a Master Plan for the City. Mayor Craddock moved to table the Ordinance until May 9, 1983, as copies of the Master Plan final draft had not been furnished to the Council because the copier was not working. Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- tion, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO DABNEY- BYRN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR ENGINEERING WORK ON THE BISHOP STREET PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $609.37 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Kreczmer second- ed the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- tion, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LEASE WITH MICROLON INC. OF A PORTION OF SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FOR AIRCRAFT OR AVIATION PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SAN ~~RCOS TO EXECUTE SAID LEASE ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
