2.2 The OWNER shall furnish required information and services and shall render responses and conduct its review of written materials as expeditiously as possible. AR~ICLE 3 OUT-OF-POCIŒ~ EXPENSES 3.1 Out-of-pocket expenses include actual expenditures made by the ARCHITECT in the interest of the Project for blueprints, printing and mailing costs, and shall be billed to the OWNER at cost. These expenses shall be in addition to the ARCHITECT's compensation described in Article 11, and shall not exceed $500.00 in total amount. ARTICLE 4 PADmNT'S TO THE ARCBITEC~ 4.1 Payments for services shall be made to ARCHITECT upon completion of each phase of the Project, and following receipt by OWNER of ARCHITECT's invoice therefor in the amounts set forth in Paragraph 11.1 of this Agreement. 4.2 PROJEC~ SUSPENSION OR TERKllIATION If the Project is suspended or abandoned in whole or in part for more than six (6) months, the ARCHITECT shall be compensated for all services performed prior to receipt of written notice from the OWNER of such suspension or abandonment. S ACCOu:trrING RECORDS 5.1 All expense records of ARCHITECT shall be kept on a recognized accounting basis acceptable to the OWNER and shall be available to the OWNER or the OWNER's authorized representative at mutually convenient times. ARTICLE 6 OWHERSHIP AND USE OF DOC1JIŒNTS >.1 Plans, specifications, and other construction contract documents 1S well as all tracings, survey notes and other original documents ,hall become the property of the OWNER whether the Project for which they are made is executed or not. However, ARCHITECT shall not be responsible for any unintended or unlawful use of the plans, specifications and construction contract documents by the OWNER or others. ARTICLE 7 TERlUNA~I 011 OF AGREEIŒNT 7.1 This Agreement may be terminated at will by the OWNER upon at least fifteen (15) days' prior written notice to the ARCHITECT. -3-
