<br />m) <br /> <br />Supplemental classroom instructions to the City's staff covering both the basic <br />operational concept and actual operation of the systems and components under <br />both normal and abnormal operations that are likely to occur, if requested. <br />Assistance to the City in lift station startup and initial operation if requested by <br />which might include preparing a Plan of Operation to identify specific actions and <br />related completion dates for startup and operation of the new facilities and <br />assisting the City during the initial start-up of the new facilities. <br />Investigation and remediation of possible hazardous materials encountered. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />n) <br /> <br />0) <br /> <br />1.8.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 15.2 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $25,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of I <br />official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and information in the <br />City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. The Engineer is not <br />responsible for the errors or omissions in the information provided by third parties who are not <br />bona fide subconsultants to the Engineer which is incorporated into the record drawings. <br /> <br />2.2 Provide previous modeling, flow monitoring, data and any previous reports completed <br />that are associated with future flow and capacity requirements for Project related conveyance <br />systems. <br /> <br />2.3 Be responsible for the payment of all advertisements and notices for the Project including <br />the issuance of addenda. <br /> <br />2.4 Designate Jennifer Shell, Senior Engineer as the City's Project Manager and authorized <br />representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine <br />the documents and information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the <br />Engineer on issues requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter the Project <br />site as well as other public and private property as required for the Engineer to perform its <br />services under this Agreement and will provide labor and safety equipment as required by <br />Engineer for such access. <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Davis Lane Wastewater Improvements Project- CH2M Hill <br />
