The Engineer will provide the City with two electronic sets of the record drawings in dgn and pdf format. 1.7.33 Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, participate in an end-of-warranty period inspection to review the completed Project with the City and the Contractor and provide a letter identifying any deficiencies found and recommended actions for the correction of deficient items. The extent of the duties, responsibilities and limitations of authority of the Engineer as the City's representative during construction will not be modified or extended after the construction contract documents have been authorized by the City to be competitively bid without written consent of the City and the Engineer and with notice to the Contractor. 1.7.34 Coordinate with the Contractor the training services of qualified representatives from equipment manufacturers relative to operation, maintenance and testing of the equipment provided under this Project. 1.8 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES I 1.8.1 Since the Engineer's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Engineer for Additional Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. The Engineer will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. The following are specifically considered additional services: a) Services related to procurement or management of third party contractors other than testing, inspection and survey firms. b) Services related to warranty claims, enforcement and inspection. c) Services for the investigation and analysis of contractor claims; preparation of reports on contractor claims; provision of professional claims analysis services; participation in litigation or alternative dispute resolution of claims. d) Preparation for and serving as a witness in connection with any public or private hearing or other forum related to the project. e) Services supporting the City in public relations activities. f) Design and engineering services for the review of, or the preparation of drawings, specifications and other information for contractor or City initiated change(s). g) Power supply upgrades and emergency power evaluation. h) The provision of additional contract documents. i) Lift Station 14 improvements required as a result of TCEQ 217 regulation review. j) Construction administration services in excess of a 9 month construction period. k) Engineering and technical services that are required to investigate differing subsurface or physical conditions.
