Brown <br /> Gerald G. Farr <br /> Fred Guerra <br /> * Betty Jane Kissler <br /> John A. Kreczmer <br /> Jaime Moore <br /> City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br /> City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br /> City Attorney Barbara Jean Edwards <br /> Director of Finance Earl Williams <br /> City Planner Joe Garza <br /> Also Present: Olga Garza, Gregg Echols, Ruth Strandtmann, Ada Burke, <br /> Henry C. Kyle, Jerri Martin, Gene Bagwell, Pat Norwood, Rose Brooks, <br /> Jackie Matthys, Lupe Picasio, Dan Nelson, Bobby Dupree, Brenda Smith, <br /> Dinah Elwell, Irene Duncan and others. <br /> Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br /> of the Regular Meeting held May 23, 1983. Mr. Farr moved to approve <br /> the minutes and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br /> the Special Meeting held May 31, 1983. Mr. Guerra moved to approve the <br /> minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- <br /> ments to the Cemetery Commission (three full-term appointments; one <br /> vacancy). Mr. Farr moved the four names submitted to the City Secre- <br /> tary prior to the meeting be appointed: ~4rs. .Pat (..Toe) <br /> Nicola (reappointment); Henry C. Kyle (reappointment); Josephine Wie- <br /> gand; and Mrs. Betsy (George) Martindale, and that these new members <br /> draw lots to determine who will fill the vacancy, and Mr. Moore second- <br /> ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- <br /> ments to the Ethics Review Commission. Mr. Kreczmer moved the four <br /> names submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting be placed <br /> in nomination: Brenda Smith (reappointment); W. B. P~atel (reappoint- <br /> ment); Rosemary Suniga (reappointment) and Mary Helen Moore, and Mr. <br /> Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown then <br /> moved these nominations be appointed by acclamation and Mr. Guerra <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appoint- <br /> ment to the Library Board to fill a vacancy expiring October, 1983. <br /> Mayor Craddock moved to appoint John Meeks and Mr. Farr seconded the <br /> motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock stated the Council would receive a report from the <br /> Chairman of the Cemetery Commission, Ada Burke. Mrs. Burke stated <br /> she had chaired the Cemetery Commission since its inception in <br /> October, 1982. Mrs. Burke thanked Dinah Elwell, Sharonn Brewer <br /> and Earl Williams for their help in supplying her information through- <br /> out her term on the Commission. A copy of Mrs. Burke's report is <br /> attached to these minutes. <br /> * Betty Kissler was not present at this meeting. <br />
